Nearly twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland found themselves lacking electricity on Monday morning after severe thunderstorms swept through the state, producing strong winds hitting 109km/h.
Massive Frozen Precipitation and Extensive Destruction
Residents reported substantial frozen pellets as large as 7 centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that different parts across the state had been affected by large hailstones.
